Himalayan Talkies was founded with a vision of providing meaningful travel for people looking for travelling to the Himalaya regions. And therefore, we started with a Facebook group which is a non-commercial platform for travelers to share their travel experiences along with mesmerizing pictures and videos from enchanting lands of the Himalayas while they enjoy the content from others too. People also interact over travel queries they have for travelling to the Himalayas. At the same time, a lot of regular information on Road & Weather Conditions, Route & Trek Status, and articles on unexplored Valleys and destinations is floated from the official handle of Himalayan Talkies and an extremely experienced, traveled, and well-connected Admin team. The idea thereby is to educate people about every hidden trail of the Himalayas with the help of our Expert network across all regions. We, also through our efforts try to educate people not to fall prey to shoddy itineraries and bad experiences coming from inexperienced travel agents.
Founded in July 2017, we currently stand strong with a base of 80K passionate Himalayan enthusiasts.

Himalayan Talkies Townhall
Our townhalls are in-city catchups/meets wherein all travelling enthusiasts and budding travellers meet personally to share adventure experiences from their road trips and treks to the Himalayas and ask queries on regions. All these meets are totally free of cost everyone is welcome to attend these. We have been featured by the Hindu for this initiative.
Himalayan Talkies Offsite
One of its kind – non-profit-making trips done at regular intervals (once a year on an average) where we invite the members of our community to travel with us to an unexplored region in the Himalayas. The idea is to offer the most premium travel experience with the best luxury possible in those remote terrains and at the toughest of times. We have led offsites to various regions some of those include, Zanskar Valley, Spiti Valley, Tungnath Chandrashila & Deoriatal.
Himalayan Talkies Experiential Expeditions
On special demand and to accommodate more people to travel with us, we also launched our commercial expeditions in 2020 where we do very nice and premium travel to the most offbeat places in the Himalayas. We have done over 8 Self Drive 4X4 expeditions to places like Spiti, Zanskar, and Pangi Valleys in a span of ~ 12 months where special attention is given to providing the best luxury and experience to travellers so that they can think of exploring these tough terrains even with their families. We strive towards breaking this myth that offbeat travel means to be devoid of luxury and that’s why people from all age groups join our expeditions. We have successfully created a unique space for doing Snow Drives to Spiti or driving through the most rugged terrains of Pangi, Zanskar and Ladakh Valleys with utmost luxury.
